LIFE CYCLE 4

Acrylic & colored pencils on wood panel. 12x12 inches with stained hemlock frame with copper nails. (Photo of frame from the side is an example from Life Cycle 2) Completed with sawtooth hanger and felt bumpers on back, ready to hang.

The skull series is my way of reflecting on the temporality of our very short time in this physical form. Skulls remind me that we all must die, and that thought can either provide inspiration or apathy, depending on the day.
